This is super scuffed and I got super lucky with a kiss of styx and a survive survive survive but I’m so happy I beat this challenge I set for myself first try.

Also had 40% Success Rate, 11s Mint Condition, 11% Extra Dose, Mutual Destruction (common; 33.6% chance at the end of the fight), Exhaust Riser. Tagging Vicious Flourish and then smashing face. So much synergy.

Launcher Frame would be so good for Vicious Flourish + Profuse Bleeding.

people here have also been playing the game for months, have all aspects, arcana, etc maxed. a better difficulty comparison will the fresh file experience or high fear (or EM4 if/when it's added). My loss was 10 fear (b/c I needed the Eris testament anyway), win was 0 fear (because I didn't feel like pressing my luck on the 16 fear Typhon testament until beating him once before)

The Heartthrob Duo was surprisingly lackluster, even with Furies Arcana and 48% Extended Family boosting the damage, but I guess ultimately it's just a math problem between the guaranteed Splash from Wave Strike vs. the proc chance for a blood drop + then having to collect the drop to get a Heartthrob, since except for Divine Dash, they both mainly proc on the same trigger the way I built it (exhaust riser dash strikes) and the Splash also gets the Furies & Extended Family boosts. Plus the Duo came online in region 3, vs having Wave Strike from room 2 region 1.

Maybe if you do a (very RNG dependent) Aphrodite+Apollo+Ares build for Sunny Disposition as well, that can work better, since that triples your Heartthrob damage. And Apollo's Extra Dose can also get some extra Profuse Bleeding procs occasionally. Might also be better on another weapon like Torches where you can spend magick quickly to create Heartthrobs with Aphrodite's other boon and then just get bonus ones if/when the Ares duo comes online
