then tried a few until I found one I could get to 62 UW
currently trying to do 62 on one aspect of each weapon (3/6 done)

the different between a 50 and a 62 is probably a 3-4x in difficulty

Yes, do dash attack and cancel the recovery animation using the special. If done correctly both come out at nearly the same time

So… Hecate. A few tips;

1. Dash through the Dark Side wave (that’s the giant moving circle that is summoned around her)
2. The transitions from P1 to P2 and P2 to P3 has Hecate use a hex before summoning witches. This hex is randomly chosen out a pool. Sometimes it’s a series of flame projectiles that she shoots out, sometimes it’s circles on the ground, and sometimes it’s a larger dark side wave. Also I think Hecate can use Lunar Ray too (a whole bunch of lasers). I know it sounds somewhat obvious but… you want to dodge away from the circles on the ground, towards and away from the dark side waves, and stay inbetween or dodge through the lasers.

Actually, better way to describe it. Your dash has a few moments of invincibility frames where you can dodge through something. You can dash towards something to better dodge it, or dash away to run from it.

Idk what the button is on the keyboard, but for controller, pressing the left arrow brings up this menu of all your boons. Then you can press right bumper to view the arcana cards

Arcana cards, keepsakes, and resources gathered are permanently unlocked / permanently gained. The boons you get and the gold you earn is subject to the run.

I feel like with the extensive amount of different combinations between boons, hammers, and npc stuff, there's a way to get a build that isn't wrong but just not very good

jpom can really give you a cursed run if you have bad luck

If you're already good at dodging enemies, giving them 10% more health doesn't do much

Having enemies spawn from the next biome is also not really a problem, since it doesn't introduce anything new to deal with

If you want a tiny bit more challenge, turn on the thing that gives minibosses extra adds, or gives enemies with armor extra perks

And yeah, time 1 is p easy. Just remember you can pause any time you need to think over a decision

I'd just grab some max magick upgrades when needed, born gain is fantastic

at very high fear you can risk priming out, especially if you're stacking channel speed, fine line, ocean swell etc
but you can also just take Hecate's keepsake if you're magick is getting scary low

also if you're running surface then Traces of Spirit from Medea is nice to grab for born gain runs!
