Hera Dem staff use aspect of melinoe, your core is Hera energy and Demeter O buff. You can do literally anything else after that, I especially like Hera, dem Poseidon or Zeus on normal and some aphrodite for hopefully Hera/aphro duo boon

Ideally get the double O attack hammer, the lifesteal hammer or the cross O attack hammer (it messes your aim a bit unfortunately)

Selene I like the slowdown, the healing or the reanimation

You can just spam as many O attacks as you want and you delete everything

the omega attack continues to deal damage at it's regular rate even while time is slowed from channeling your cast (which you can do if you have psychic whirlwind), so you can stack crazy damage while enemies dont move (it's probably a bug lmao)

Update on my axe build. I picked up Apollo keepsake, secured the sprint and self healing infusion. Picked up the hammer that makes the spin channel and movement faster. So it will be a spin centric build. Just beat Scylla hitless.

Came here to see what people's opinion was of the comparison between Wave Strike/Flourish (Poseidon) and Flame Strike/Flourish (Hestia), as I was very surprised to find the former mostly outclassing the latter in most scenarios. Yes, I know Fire Extinguisher exists, but if you need to take two boon become a less flexible version (since you need to hit repeatedly to gain similar dps) of the 1 Poseidon boon, there's a considerable balancing issue.

Staff of Momus is the premier faceroll aspect, you don't need to have fun because you spam one button and can bulldoze ANYTHING

Pan Blades are unique in that enemies on your cast will, when you shoot out a Special home in on those targets

Thanatos Axe just feels like Mel Axe but better for spinning. I find Mel Axe good on swing runs now rather than beyblading

I went up the first time, and found out I would die, but I got two moss while I was running around. Then, I did a regular run and saw Chaos, who had dialogue about it and gave me a seed. I planted it, did another run, came back, and the plant was the last material I needed for the "be on the surface" incantation.

This, Hestia turns her into a joke but without it she's incredibly overtuned. Outside of her dash and AoE's she has very little signals so you don't really know if she's going to do the Rapid Fire attack and you can strafe her... or the Shotgun attack where you can't do that unless she's already DOING it.

Yeah I hate how there's collision with them, even when I'm moving around if I'm trying to set up blast zones and stuff they just miss the target, bounce off each other, and then sit there doing nothing. Maybe adding proper auto targeting so they can curve to a target?

u can gift skelly and get a skelly tooth i guess. otherwise it’s just finding a good build. learn to dodge the 3 hit combo and iframing the dash attack is important. then finally the hardest attack to dodge is the boomerang which depends on positioning in the safe zone in front or behind and right. and good reflexes.

going for an ez staff special build or dagger special build with midrange also makes the fight easier than pure melee

The Omega Attack puts you behind the enemy relative to where they’re facing. Example If Scylla is facing you and you Omega you deal nothing because you hit her shell. If you’re behind her and Omega youlll do damage because you’re infront

Just hit a run with Apollo’s omega cast, Zeus’ lightning lance for the cast, and the Apollo/Zeus duo boon with an Epic Hestia regen boon… I haven’t melted enemies faster in any run of either game. Highly recommend for a cast build

Actually the Selene Hex that heals you can carry you if you get it early. There’s an upgrade that allows you to carry more between Biomes so you can totally just rock up to Chronos with like 18 Heals that also restore Mana

Torches need to be made STUPIDLY fluid in gameplay, making weaving specials and normals the primary playstyle. I just want those two attacks to mesh way more together. Attack into special feels great, but special into attack feels so horrid.

I'm running Fears that have multiple enemies spawn, so having the ability to get all these mobs in place so I can swing my hammer and kill them all faster makes my room-clearing no real problem. All I suffer in boss fights is perhaps a difference of... 30% flat compared to Aphro? Additionally, it will bulldoze Scylla faster than Aphro will

Momus with 30 HP, equip the White Antler then grab Poseidon Special and watch yourself press one button and do 60-80 damage with a 40% chance to crit for 2x as much

yeah good thing its the last boss. also i HATE the aoe indicators in this game. theyre always smaller than the real explosion. i get hit by explosion even when in clearly standing outside of the explosion

question for you smart people. i keep seeing wins where people have 200+ max hp... both my runs ive won i have ended up under 100 max... is there something ive missed that boosts hp to the moon?

i get like 150 hp minimum from just titan + frinos + centaur + base hp

There are a few boons. Usually a sacrifice one. So give up random boon and gain x amount of hp and magic

the animal gives up to 40 hp i think. prioritizing hearts is. good. and upgrading the hp arcana gives u +50. i think u can start a run with 120 if u take level 4 animal and level 3 flat hp mana arcana
