I played Circe with Raki to 62 fear

but at 65 its too wild, i need Gales blocks and dodge%

you lose leash damage but you compensate with staff and staff is busted

just not mel staff busted

that thing is a wrecking machine

but strong cast damage and good special/attack and hammers and circe/gale is the safest for 65f

62 is arguable, you can choose all your arcana and plan out better so raki works

but 65 is wild west. need gale i think, i try raki every few runs but my closest have been gale besides one

Then if you switch to Time Piece or Calling Card, you will have the purges or rarifies for the rest of the run until you use them up, even if you switch to any non-Olympian-summoning keepsake afterwards

3rd region keepsakes are typically: Knuckle Bones especially for surface especially if you have Hitch, Engraved Pin for safety and if you're scared of encounters as well as the boss, Gorgon Amulet if you've lost all your DDs, Ghost Onion if you want to save your current DD and don't think you'll lose too much HP, Silken Sash if you want to set up for using White Antler in the fourth region, Experimental Hammer if you really want a specific hammer

Yeah Antler is taken out of necessity sometimes if doing the most damage possible is the only way to win with the timer

But also, if you have enough DDs, resists, armor, and dodge chance, Antler can be worth it even if you don't need it

In Tartarus for example, with Antler you kill most enemies in 1 or 2 hits so they don't get a chance to hit you

Then vs Chronos you have 3 Lovers shields, hopefully some DDs and armor, maybe dodge chance and extra resists, and Gale blocks

I still use Pin if i lost to the last boss on the subsequent run apart from that

And also, because you're doing so much damage he gets 1 or 2 attacks in then does his combo breaker which is very predictable in phase 1 and 2

For me, I want to use Antler in Summit as well because I want Typhon to be finished as soon as possible, as some attacks especially in P4 are simply not dodgeable sometimes

the only difference is rolls and certain decisions along the way hard to explain to someone who hasn't played

like prioritizing stuff etc

for chips to buy some skills earlier

i maybe played it a little safer, i could try again and probably improve a bit but dunno if i am gonna improve to round 4 win

its a weird event, snake bananza is the most broken in DLC and they gave him his most broken perks including one that lets you slow timer when you use glare which is slow motion

so for hardcore the idea is stack 4 main perks and abuse staring down consistently then target this one enemy once set up

because unlike regular emerald rush where its random, these events are predetermined, everything is the same and if you reroll on a fossil for example the reroll is the same

so regular game is a roguelite but the events make it predetermined to even the playing field

most people just want the 1 million score for the main statue award for your collection, but some people go for max, some go for really fast max scores, they have an event every 4-6 weeks, i think only 3-4 more though left if i had to guess

i've already done the normal roguelite dlc and fast maxed every layer to about the best of my ability plus maxed them all without bananzas which is really hard in a few of the layers especially one. so i only play events now

I’m so mad. I was well on my way to beating Typhon on 50 fear and I ran into the safe zone circle ⭕️ but one of Typhon’s eggs landed IN THE EXACT CENTRE OF THE CIRCLE which pushed me out of the circle just enough that I got hit by Chronos’ instakill attack. Not cool. @frigid warren

Heyo, I don't really know if this is the right channel to ask this in since I literally just joined so forgive me if it's the wrong one but does anyone know what exactly it takes to unlock the "Born to win" prophecy? I keep talking to Chaos with their boon equipped, I have the relationship maxed out but they just keep talking about different stuff. I also saw someone say that you needed to talk to Chaos on the surface but I've literally never seen a gate spawn there in all of my playtime. Any advice on this? Any help would be appreciated honestly since it's the last achievement I'm missing

He can spawn on olumpus, but yeah there is alot of dialogue that takes priority over it, if you've met all the prerequisites then it will trigger eventually, you can also do a full run with the egg and it will complete the prophecy when it triggers

Thank you and yeah I think I already did one or two full runs with the egg so that it would completely once it unlocked. Is talking to them on Olympus a prerequisite though? And if it is, is there any way to get them to spawn there? Because I genuinely haven't seen them there in 140 hours of playtime and I don't think you can buy a chaos gate from Hermes like you can from the Wells of Charon.

one mel skull one mel staff to see what was easier

skull felt better but no parray is a bummer so had to take boosted ignition and fetching array

Mel Staff had Shimmering Moonshot and Melting Swipe with Sworn Flourish

and 3 second cooldown blasts attack so dash strike was crazy

that build had some heat but no death after eris

so i lost to vor3

the other one timed out couldn't crush em quick enough, with parray i wouldve had a great shot at making it to summit

but past eris on two attempts both got thru olympus but time or arcana issues shut me down, gonna go for parray mel skulls i think best chance

but a dual moonshot/melting swipe could be really good to staff is so busted lol
