there's sadly no consistent way to spawn him, it's just a random chance of showing up in mid-area shops
if you see an infernal contract symbol above a shop icon, then that shop will have the infernal contract in it

non-god immortals (like chaos and selene), chthonic gods (hades), and mortals (icarus etc) don't count, and neither do daedalus hammers ofc

I've just got to ask, forgive me if this gets mentioned commonly, how long until Hades 3 gets announced with Co-op campaign where Mel and Zag have to tackle the next family therapy war, seems like Co-op would be a neat spin and it still add the flexibility of single player being able to swap between characters on different runs...plus I wanna see the duo work together against a big or perhaps duo boss. I’m a bit of a glamour gain defender for actual regen tbh, it’s still fine on weapons with moderate magick usage
anything Unseen can solo sustain it generally can, so Eos and Nyx for instance do well with it. just ass on torches and stuff like shiva/charon for uh. multiple obvious reasons

also dropping fates whim isnt always a bad thing! most of the time if you need the athena boon or are getting tired of howling soul and you feel like most of your build is already together, dropping fates whim by like area3(even 2 if you got crazy lucky) is more than worth it if the case suggests

i take it in high fear when timer becomes an issue(less on UW more on surface but still, free rooms means less chances for me to get hit 😌)

In surface i know I might time out on Olympus but at the same time getting giga gold for Hermes shrines is good and I am greedy, so I just hope to snowball with extra boons and try to make up timer that way

I took Spiritual Affirmation + Uncanny Fortitude in a run with Traces of Spirit and I got so wildly beefy by the end of that run lol

rooms get harder the later they are, so you want to take fixed encounters later

fixed encounters being medea and miniboss, which are always the same no matter when you take them
