Unless you have the timer fear, it doesn't matter if a run takes 40 minutes, spend the time to learn the enemies. It'll make you faster as you know what they do and how you can be aggressive.

Once youre taking minimal damage in the areas, you have more hp on bosses. Then you have longer to learn their patterns. Once their patterns are down, you start clearing ||Rivals|| while watching anime.

since then you can just keep standing there, while the armor will eat the first hit and then you're invuln for 2s so you can just finish the channel without having to juggle several enemy positions or typhon's projectile vomit again

It is when you settle for 1 source instead of 2 sources of damage (moon beam and yourself), you have what 20-40 armor? 1 hit from Chronos or Typhon and that's off, 2 hits and you're missing half your hp. And why play in such a way that makes you extremely vulnerable?

One hit against a boss is crazy value fym, especially when I get one free hit every 15-10 seconds, and yes frenzy 2. When I use it in a position I know I’m about to get rocked, I simply dodge the next attack when the armor pops, it’s really not that advanced

You can see that even though I got lucky and it splashed the target, it was doing its best to avoid hitting the guy I was aiming at. If that were howling soul it would have been a complete whiff, and it uses the same targeting logic.

Yes, it's quite wise to switch keepsakes often. For example, if you are doing a non-death defiance run, you take Athena's Gorgon. Then you swap to the Phial if you want a boon to be heroic.

If your build sucks and you will legitimately die to timer you might need fig.

But a lot of high fear runners are good enough at going fast when they get a good build that I belive chrolex is the typical standard now
