i think its partially just the number of different items that make things seem longer
cuz u might need to do multiple runs to get enough of a specific rock or whatever for 1 thing

I have a question, is it normal for all 3 of your starting boons to start out without the persephone +6 lvl up in a run? I was wondering because out of 5 or so runs with persephone, I didnt start a single run with options of leveled up boons unless I used a reroll

hmmm. I found Hades a lot harder but I was also worse at this sort of game when I first beat him, I think Chronos is harder overall.
I also like the Chronos fight more I think, Hades doing "darkness" spam and disappearing got kind of old and I prefer dodging time bubbles and oneshots over waiting for dad to reappear so I can hit him. both great fights tho

if you have the hex and the right god in your pool you can get the godsent version

Missing only two steam achievements the one for unfamiliar forms and the one for having every achievement.||

good players can struggle with the rng in the great chaos trials just cause the arcana setup and bad keepsakes can brick you really quick

the only god who can increase attack speed is ares afaik, but I wouldn't take ares just for that. (and hermes but he's not a core god and I assume that's what you're asking)
I guess in theory apollo AoE can make it easier to hit enemies which makes it easier to charge up nergal atk speed buff...?

I've been trying for days, and all I've got is Nergal, and I can't even unlock it because the last two times I reached the summit, the game decided not to spawn serpent scales! And then as soon as I get Momus up to level five, Circe just decides not to show up in Thessaly.

underworld zone 3's structure is what really does it I think. Hazards aren't that dangerous, you have wide open space, and enemies have to spawn in, and approach you to attack, with relatively few ranged enemies
