I wouldn't change how I play an aspect just to use night, but if you already naturally cycle omega moves it's like a free artemis boon, not bad at all

Everyone (except Hades) just loves Zag so much more than Mel I get offended on her behalf sometimes. Chaos never wastes an opportunity to say it, like when they told Mel that if Zag ever does a run they’re going to give him their blessings and Mel can get a blessing too but only the ones that Zag doesn’t choose lmaoooo. Leftovers only for Meli even though she has a significantly more important job

That's why I love Hecate, Odysseus and Moros : they truly respect Melinoe. Hecate respects both her achievements and failures, Odysseus never forgets that she is their last hope, and Moros outright says he prefers the company of Melinoe over the Fates.

Icarus and Ares as well! I find most of the other gods to have quite a tongue with her at times. By the time I got Eris as a romance option I was fairly weary because of all the crap Mel was getting. And it’s astounding that the implication behind Olympus ||closing its doors on her is because they fear what she’s capable of. Crazy. So all 5 of the surface runs is Zeus and Hera telling you in all the cheeky ways they could that they don’t have all that much faith in you, then when you truly prove yourself capable beyond imagination, they effectively shadowban you from Olympus. Wild||

I think that some of the gods are still awful here. like the fall of troy was a 10 year misery fest (and was hinted at by eris as being caused by the gods)

Part of it is that we, the players, are mortals and more inclined to side with the ones we see and hear about, especially as Hades II really hammers in that the gods do horrible things and are never taken to account for it, while in Hades 1 it was mainly background stuff and ended with a concession to avoid a Divine Conflict.

I’m a degenerate so I when given the chance I interpret lines that way! Either works I believe, and it’s more rational to think that Apollo wouldn’t flirt with Mel because they’re cousins and this is not that kind of game. But I like pedalling this 🙏🏻

But that's the point : they are nice on surface just for the sake of keeping their image and because you're a member of their family. Olympus are a bunch of hypocrites, except Ares. Cthonic gods, the Unseen and the court of Hades are much more honest

• just keep playing the game more and unlock permanent upgrades and hopefully get a god run with the right boon combo
• practice enemy and boss patterns so you don't get hit
• watch youtube videos to see what good builds look like and try to replicate them

Also dont feel discouraged! The game is designed to kill you a lot when you are learning. Many people do not win until their 30 or even 50th run

I know the feedback channel is closed and all, but I really don't like how on controller, aim assist doesn't lock on to ||Lightbearer|| Eris' ||bombs|| at all. Like it's to the point that I'm considering turning off aim assist JUST for this one fight, or toggling it off when I need to clear bombs, and that's pretty frustrating

Especially like just now when my only viable means to clean bombs is the Sister Blades' special, which is a very thin projectile with extremely aggressive aim assist when any target is within like 90 degrees of your stick direction

maybe try throwing down a bunch of casts? They seem to just about reach without tripping the mine if you're at the edges and you have a damaging one

or if you're on PC and are feeling dexterous, swap KBM for the one fight... that's a less smart suggestion though

I find underworld to time-pressure me more, because VoR Hecate likes to stall you against a lower-boon build than a Surface run will have, and the Sirens hard to get in on without eating damage when being quick (though those are both definitely partly skill issue )

Its just that on the boats you get so many enemies it takes forever to clear, on top of the city being slower than erebus especially if u dont wanna give up looking into all the rooms
