Rivals easiest to hardest for me (compared to their original versions)
The only challenging ones start from 5 for me

1. Eris. (negative difficulty, she feels easier, likely due to the change of perspective)
2. Cerebus (Its different, but not hard or anything)
   3/4) Hecate (slightly harder, but not much of an issue)
   3/4) Promethus (Surprisingly very easy, I just need to dodge a little bit more)
3. Typhon (Its an extra phase with more dodging, I got caught offguard the first time and I still survived it)
4. Scylla (The second one I actually struggled with, it was like some touhou bullet hell!)
5. Chronos, It is very hard to find windows to attack, it almost feels like my movement is locked and yet I need to move half the time.
6. Polyphemus (The first one I struggled with and the one I hate the most. WHAT IS TOUHOU BULLET HELL BUT WITH DOT POISON?!)

Base Axe is slow af, that might be getting you killed in the Sirens fight if you can't reposition fast

In addition to everyone’s advice - avoid tanking attacks I think that’s something a lot of us just do especially when we’re starting out. The tiny hits may seem inconsequential but they add up quickly so take your time with evading enemies instead of just rushing in to attack and getting sliced in the process

And the non-upgraded axe locking you into super slow combos can't possibly be helping with that, I imagine.

Yep, he’s tricky. one thing that works well for me in the fire lanes attack is instead of trying to remember where the fire will be, I just pick where I’ll be ahead of time. Zones 1/2/3 and I’ll literally call it out “2,3,2” and repeat it. He hasn’t hit me in nine fights with that attack with this method. he has killed me other ways tho lol

Say them out loud to yourself. Stand in the first safe spot so you don't have to remember 3/5 but only 2/4. Without Vow of Rivals he has nothing else going on so all your attention goes to it.
