Mostly you do have to stop attacking briefly, but try to always dodge the slams behind and to the opposite side of the one paw slams, and behind and to the middle of his back for two paw slams

Basically, when you did Reroll on any Minor Find when you'd not picked up the hammer yet, a hammer was still in the pool to be rolled while in Mourning Fields. So you'd reroll some of those free Minor Finds around the room and often get 2 extra hammers out of it

one thing I miss from hades 1, I feel like replacement boons used to be super consistent, and now they are very rare

Okay, I took another run to the top, started dishing out some slow but steady punishment to the damage sponge on the top, only to be absolutely WRECKED when he starts to throw three orbs that deal AOE damage and then splits into 3 smaller orbs that deal AOE as well, for 40 and 30 damage. I wasn't able to avoid ANY of this. Heck, it was hard to avoid even when he was shoting only 1... How I am supposed to dodge that?!

On a more serious note, when the orbs come out they are headed for your location when they're fired, so sprinting toward and then dashing towards typhon will avoid the bounces

Then you will want to immediately pull back again after getting a few hits in because the chin slam is like 95% coming

tbh when I reach typhon (not rivals) I usually have enough DPS to focus on attacking him and only dodging half of his stuff to maximize time attacking.

ig the fun part of it is that enemies hit by it take bonus damage from your Ω moves, so it just powers up your magick usage more 🤷 but it isn't that flavorful

it's strong tho, especially if it's godsent and has a lot of upgrades, it can melt through full boss phases on its own pretty easily. just less fun to actually use than a lot of other hexes imo

Yeah, when the axe special first got changed, it’s kind of like pan omega (multiple hits from a single input) and it hits 3 times, so a good rarity poseidon flourish was like over 100% increase compared to weapon damage

Not exactly, they changed (and, imo, massively improved) the system:
On the Oath screen, you see for all weapons a boss marked with a Fear level; beat them, and you get Nightmare and unlock the next one for that weapon. You get rewards at 1-2-4-8-10-12-16-20 Fear. I know higher levels give more Nightmare, but don't know the exact progression.

On the upside, levelling requirements require way less Nightmare (Titan's Blood equivalent), and you have a couple more ways of getting it.

I feel like I did get the dialogue to trigger in early access but I can't be sure and I'm not sure if it's a flag I can even check, but I only just got aspect of melinoe up to 5 for the black coat though

Normally I'd feel easy with this but it's kind of two things, in that I've been looking forward to the coat for about 10 hours of bad runs without any adamant, and that selene's dialogue is stuff along the lines of "so the cycle begins anew little one" which feels like the lowest priority a bit of dialogue can get. Since I'm not missing any obvious gotchas, I'll assume my save is bugged if I'm not getting the dialogue running into selene in not the 1st room though

The rooms do not really change the rate of climb. The outside rooms don't start the timer clock until you land, so you might technically finish each room a few seconds faster. And inside rooms tend to lead to more inside rooms. But the actual number of rooms does not change based on route.

i usually use omega attack to engage and then finish my combos but if you use soemthing else to apply blitz (or even just the attack) then the other hits will trigger blitz. Scorch is less useful for that because you do fewer hits more slowly instead of faster hits.

You used to have to make direct contact for Nexus rush to activate and now it is closer to the AOE of Hestia lava. Maybe a bit smaller but the point is you just have to rush near an enemy, not on top of (like for Aphro Zeus duo boon)

Nexus Rush does about the same amount of damage as Tidal Rush on initial contact and then every other enemy sends the Hitch damage back to the earlier so Nexus Rush is way better than Tidal Rush

Supay its the poseidon weapon for me

unless u have the duos its kinda buns, however it does put you into hostile environment if ur playing charon/circe

Supay is even better with Hestia or Hera because Hestia does almost as much damage but to more enemies at once and Hera appreciates the % increase which also gets passed back each time you hit a new enemy

to be fair it isn't "bad" on supay, its just not great. The only rush boon useless on supay is apollo but yes, zeus is not the best choice given it only hits one enemy at a time

The omegas for this aspect feel slow but I am used to thanatos

optimal triad proc (iirc) is : dash atk--> oatk --> special, or special first

omega cast is actually a great way to set up multiple triggers at once especially since attack and special can hit more than one enemy but omega attack cant easily do this (aiming) and omega special is slow

I like using the omega special to proc because the return blades activate the omega requirement again. Then attack --> special as the blades return it procs the special requirement then attack --> ospecial

not sure what you mean by fixed; with supay I don't want my enemies to be pushed back at all but I can tolerate poseidon attack since they would hopefuly just be pushed within the ring of the special. But realistically the flat damage of poseidon + always sprinting means it should be no problem for most cases

i agree. unless you have a pattern where you can indeed triad every enemy at once and thus it takes less time to just do one combo which is why I like the omega cast but this is definitely a map and spawn dependent situation
