upgrading a boon gets pretty useless past +5 , its better to have a bunch of buff boons

also his cds vary by attack. sprint's is lowest at base, followed by attack, then special.

It was pushed that the theme of the game was your character without having their powers. You were without your powers for exactly 30 minutes.

so far to me it feels like Hades 2 is an improvement over Hades because :
1- the different choices you get are better balanced, including arcana cards, compared to hades 1 choices in the mirror (double dash and more death defiance was almost always better), it may be the case also when you increase the difficulty (hades 1 in higher heat relied too much on luck factor)
2- losing the double dash makes the combat much deeper than hades 1 that gave too much potential to dash spamming until you reach the higher heats. A invulnerable dash is such a powerful move, if you can double dash so often it puts some limits on the optimal playstyles and difficulty.

I would rate Hades 1 in the 8.5, Hades 2 i don't know yet likely a bit higher. I am at the moment evaluating the difficulty curve of the game. For example I just did a scrying stone trial, and it was so easy as to be completely impossible to fail, I don't understand exactly. Hades 1 had a little bit of that syndrome of farming through "easier" heats a lot to farm resources, with no benefit to increasing the heat further until you farmed the easier heats. I want to see how Hades 2 handles the difficulty curve and how it feels as you get to the higher difficulties.

There is also more content and choice overall in Hades 2 apparently.

But a lot of the choices in the game are more interesting and I love the overall aesthetics. Regarding the writing, haven't unlocked the endings yet but I feel there's a bit more urgency and seriousness in the game I like that more than the aloofness of h1

I know the feedback channel is closed but what's the deal with not being able to view your familiars' levels and effects in the silver pool? You can do it with weapons. The only way to do this with a familiar is to select one, open your build menu, and check. Then select a different one, open your build menu, and check that one. Really clunky

Rival eris tends to be easier once you get good at the fight cause it's harder for her to chunk you

holding attack uses your omega move every second or so, zeus has a boon that strikes enemies with lightning everytime you spend mana

and combo that with a moon spell forgot the name, since u perma use m ana u get your moon spells very fast

I recommend you to start SO CLOSE to him, attacking, then he will attack with his jaw (u should apart) then come back close to him, his next move will be something for distance (u should dash) come back, hit him, and he will attack with his jaw again
