Scorch can no longer be affected by crit, ares DD, or air quality
Freezer Burn can no longer crit (unpatchnoted change), but visually still looks like it does
Freezer Burn can still be affected by ares dd, and air quality if for some reason your freezer burn is tiny
Hestia attack and special have both been nerfed, but are still much higher than they were in warsong

It's not specific strategy, but my advice would be to not sweat it too much. In my experience, one of the biggest barriers to learning a new boss is being too focused on winning. It's kind of paradoxical, but I think you win faster if you care less if you win this time and care more about learning what's going on.

And then the Testaments of Night go and say: "Oh, you almost beat Typhon on 12 Fear with Hel's Argent Skull? Grave Hunger on the Ubral Flames, 16 Fear, Typhon, even though you just lost to him on a lower fear."

I'm also a circe staff enjoyer, that went from one of the lamest aspects to one of, if no THE best aspect in the game.

Momus isn’t as bad as some of the other worst aspects of their weapon, but it pales in comparison to the other 3 staffs at really high fear

The thing with Momus is it relies on magic pretty heavily, it’s arguably hammer reliant (Dual Moonshot or Mirrored Thrasher), and several parts of the aspect has gotten nerfed over time (the Omegas, and the aspect bonus itself)

He has clones to do things for him, all his attacks have larger or more aoes, he can control the entire arenas space

so I've been playing through the vow of Rivals and it's been a really rewarding challenge and nice to flex new muscles of relearning all the boss fights, I finally managed to beat Kronos phase 2 while on max vow of Rivals and the unexpected phase 3 starting completely reignited my spark for the game, it filled me with such complete and utter joy and I'm even more excited for 1.0 and to see the finished product!

My only super minor gripe with the last Chronos phase is that the small islands feel like they should fall under you, but they don't. The distortion effect makes it look like they vibrate under you, which usually means that the platform you're standing at will crumble

The terrain in general is weird in that stage - you are walking on void, but there are islands that are instead just starting points of attacks

Kinda feels like they were going to make islands the only safe grounds but then decided not to
