Who should I use and who should I get in the future?

I'm pretty much new to this game and I don't understand the buffs and types

And I feel overwhelmed with all the info

I suggest retroing laffey since its relatively cheap and she works wonders

A standard beginner fleet would be Nagato, Unicorn, Shangri-la, Portland, Helena, Laffey

Although we dont really have a good grasp on Indomptable’s true tier yet

U see the stars below ur ships? It indicates how far u can level them up. 3 stars to lvl70, 4 to 80 and etc

It's a similar reasoning for Le'dommy. Even if she is good she isn't worth the SR Bulin over Laffey when you need them for Nagato and SRL

U will need the same copy or specific rarity bulins to LB

#

With UR and SR bulins being particularly valueble

BB wise actually i think once u get rodney or nelson u should build em. they will come in handy to research monarch in the future. Unless u get an early hood

Or u may just continue with vanguard to farm monarch in the future

#

But thats still quite a ways off

+10 levels over enemies is a general rule of thumb until it becomes impossible.

but uhh you can just be more empirical than that. If you are smashing current content in 30 seconds or less move onto something harder

Ark royal retro is pretty good as well

I recommend u hold off on subs first

U can dabble on them in the mid game

#

And start building them seriously in the late game once u have ur surface fleets built

Cuz in later worlds u will need to fight 5 mob nodes in order to spawn the boss node

Hence why u will need a mob fleet to clear mob nodes

And a boss fleet to remain relatively untouched to retain buff and clear boss node
