#OpSi Mob & Boss Fleets
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
This is mine atm, will add Vanguard into a BB fleet once I have her leveled
Fleet 4 is Richy Howe DoY Kronstadt and the DDGs
Currently
4th is to test out monarch vs howe vs warkai
Normally i would run another CV fleet
Is there a reason why you're running your CV fleet without Kazugumo? Just curious :)
I don't have Kazagumo
Lmao, fair enough
The basics of OpSi fleet building basically revolves around 1 heal/preload focused mob fleet, 1 CV fleet, 1 HE BB fleet, and a 4th fleet that is often AP BBs
Mob fleet is barely visible, but it's Gasco/Uni/Indep - Duca/An Shan/Rikka
Well most good bb these days dont care about which ammo they using
The abyssals that are weak to shelling damage are all light armor
So it
1 mob
1 bb
1 cv
1 whatever you like to built
Well CV also good against light armour so
You can set up a good BB fleet to use whatever ammo and still decimate the target
Here's what I'm running, mostly cause I'm lazy and haven't updated in a while:
Look fine
The point of having a dedicated CV and BB fleet is a combination of synergy and just beating the bosses, so the HE BB fleet takes priority over AP on paper
Yup
Issue for me is that I use my best BB fleet with AP for META fights lol
Quick question while we're here: My 4th fleet has SF as MT, and Seattle as OT. How copium would it be to run Roon MT, SF OT, would it even be worth it?
So I just scrounge what I can out of strong SR/PR BBs for my HE fleet ATM
I just gear swap
That is a LOT of work given that I can auto harbiter
Used to gear swapping by now so it doesn't bother me much
cant you just
Swap the gun for arbiter, then swap it back when done
There other option for last fleet
It doesn't have to be BBs
I don't frequently equip swap, I just run seperate fleets and auto 99% of OpSi content with my mob fleet
Well you do you then
Everyone has their own opinions.... But thanks guys :)
But other do
And you shouldnt forced running second BBs fleet really
Other option also available
Will reshuffle now
The HE BB fleet is a larger priority for sure than a potential AP one which is mostly used for fighting the CV abyssal and things that survive the CV fleet
But as I said with my original comment, the 4th fleet can vary
You can run CV with rocket
Do the same job
As I said, abyssal damage type weakness
The HE BB fleet is the only BB fleet you should consistently run in OpSi
Not every arbiter
And it just 1 fight per month
4th fleet is basically whatever you can / want to put together. For me, putting together a decent second BB fleet is way easier than a decent second CV fleet for example
C4-6 abyssals, not sure where you got arbiter from
Cv fleet handle those better in my experience
Even without weekness
Well i run 2 rainbow so
The UR trio with HE outdamages CVs if properly supported
And I say this as someone with far better CV fleet tech than BB fleet tech
Those 2 fleet should 1 shot most c6 abyssal anyeay
And it a thing you do eith multiple fleet
This is, ofc, specifically oriented towards the DD and CL abyssals
Can someone help me with this
Nope
Yeah, you get multiple fleets for an abyssal fight, but why wouldn't you try to optimize damage output?
Sf>>> roon
Roon is... Uhhhhh...
Thing is, offtank SF has great damage output but I don't think it's enough to offset the fact that MT SF is both tankier and higher dps than roon
If that the case you run CV
Cause it just 1 loadout for everything
No needed to clicked
Well this go off the track
Also if you have the DDGs, they demolish light armor and work super well in a dedicated anti light fleet in OpSi
I think the off tank dmg buff you get form san fran is better than having her as main tank tbh
But
If you want vanguard DPS you have solid options from DDs
What other options do ypu have as a main tank?
this too
The annoying thing with top tier gunboat CAs like Sanfran is that they're basically weaker CBs
One sec, let me launch the game. I know that my best MT's are Kron and Ancho, who are already occupied
If you don't have Agir or Azuma at a solid dev level then Sanfran is probably your next best MT option

Yeah in sheer durability Sanfran and Tallinn are your next best options behind Kron and Anchorage
You actually have a pretty decent collection tbh
Agir is a really good ship to work towards tho
I'd probs go for Tallin. Other options like Azuma, Prinz Heinrich and Roon u are good too but you don't have the last two :)
I know Agir is really good, but the blueprint/time investment
I fyou go tallin, try to use an AP KMS or NP gun tho for that sweet dmg boost
It's an investment you're gonna do at some point regardless because PR4 research is probably what you're doing atm
Dw I'm in the same boat, currently only at dev lvl 14 withher after a few months :( She's still tanky even without maxing out her dev lvl though
Agir is very much workable as low as dev15 and at dev20 I'd consider her to be easily on par with some of the strongest gunboat CAs
Yep
my DR prints count is kinda tragic though
Oooo nice prints, they're better than mine are lol
You might be more up to date than me, but do people still use Cheshire as MT or did she get relegated to being an off tank?
I don't think anyone uses Cheshire as a MT outside of w12/13
She's just not exceptional outside of AA focused content
Her FS5 was also the weakest of her season
She does one thing extremely well but in terms of durability and damage output someone like Sanfran outdoes her
I've been slacking really badly with PR4 but I do have enough to insta FS5 2 PRs with saved up universal PR4 prints
Just realised that's at least a D25 Agir lmao
