you pretty much have the best that you have on your ships, I'd try and replace Belfast with Z46 for the TRP reqs
or replace Pola with Z46

it's not a problem, we make the most of what we have when starting out
The 2nd best helldiver that's easily accessible to new players is also a purple plane, and 2nd best HE gun for shelling is also purple so yeah

AP guns are bad until you farm out the PR3 guns which are BIS for most content

from their main gun
and from the skill
faster gun will trigger more often
but the main gun will get reduce
hood have meh main gun, so might as well go for faster gun
barrage gun also have the perk of not being 20s interval coldown
like CV and generic shelling gun
so it give higher dmg uptime for continuous wave clear
this is not a thing for opsiren
or single target boss, just campaign

It's always roughest at the start
If that doesn't work out, farm C2 for points and levels, just rotate them out when tired.
