regarding BB/BC options, Vanguard, Hood, Gascogne muse and Bisco are probably your strongest long term options, with Warspite being good if you can retrofit her

Ariake is directly worse than Kazagumo but still has that Air Raid Assistance niche on top of having like 550 base torp at lvl 120, Tanikaze is the ultimate torp based debuffer (albeit super niche), and Kagerou is a generic torpmeme ship
