For me i went with.
Illustrious (honestly anything works as long as tanky. Preferably a bb of some kind) then aquilla in healing mode (or any healer replacement) and percy.

For front line. Neptune, jean de arc and london

CV: Shinano/Ark/Hakuryuu + Agir/Helena/Kazagumo
BB1: Monarch/Warspite/Dork + Azuma/HelenaMeta/An Shan (HE+anti-light vanguard)
BB2: FdG/UvH/NJ + Noshiro/Jintsuu/Shimakaze (AP+Torp vanguard)

Yup. That gun syncs up really well with Helena, which the twin 457 doesn't, so it tends to outperform it.

Granted, if you're not using Helena the twin 457 is the better option, but well, that's a bit harder to get 3 from 🙂

I honestly don't see much optimizing that needs to be done. Suggestions would be to toss Helena to one of the BB fleets, thus filling those vanguards, and then using someone like Baltimore or Sirius in the CV fleet. Both Ent and Ark really love Sirius' +AVI buff for their skills. Balti buffs AVI better than Sirius but only for Ent.

basically what you said tbh, I generally do 2 CV fleets, 1 to kill the DD in stronghold and 1 for leveling. so not much sure about 2 BB fleets

I went W14 before Ingraham, and used YuudachiKai, Kazagumo, Tashkent, Javelin, and Laffey in various mob configurations before settling on Kazagumo/Yuudachi for mobbing. Shima was on bossfleet.

But W14 has completely different needs than OpSi

#

And yeah, if you're not as lazy as I am, go with 1 BB fleet and 2 CV fleets. But it just requires the occasional weapon switching while hitting bosses
