As for planes, you want Ryusei or Ju-87 D4 (the latter is easier to hit with, the former hits just a bit harder) for both torp, and a suisei dive bomber. This dive bomber is just for timing as ark's dive bombers are horrible.

The Ju87 is from gear lab, the Ryusei is from research and VDiR D3, and can also be crafted in gear lab, but that'll put a strain on resources.
