It's probably going to be a while before that's useful, though, so for now just equip your ships with as much equipment as you can get.

this being a gacha game a core is the build
when there isn't an event, you'll want to build 1 light, or as a new player,1 heavy or 1 special
and then spending more in events

the 1 build a day is part of saving cubes

and there's free ones from logging in or comms

limit break your ships every time you can

do your dailies/weeklies at the most fundamental level. login every day to get the login rewards. Since you're new, you'll get cubes from clearing/3-staring story maps

It's a cube saving measure. Most people do 1 light build since it's cube neutral.

as a new player you'd typically prefer to do 1 heavy or 1 special, but we have an event in a few days so just do 1 light

the event build pool is an altered version of the heavy/special pools, so you'll get a good variety of ships doing event pulls

it's basically just a way to divide up the gacha pool. You'll want a mix of all different kinds for certain content

heavy has Battleships, Heavy Cruisers, and Special has Carriers and subs. These 2 pools makes up a big portion of your fleets

Buy Penn and Uni in guild shop first, then reset the shop and buy Helena. (Buy some other stuff if necessary)

Portland will come soon since beginner reward.
