You might need to early on, but it kills your progression if you do it all the time, I'd just get enough of what you need, and move on.

gear only really becomes semi-worth farming once you're at like; 12-4 because a lot of the good transitional stuff is farmable in w9+ and you can level ships while maybe getting gear.
