and yeah, MLBing makes a big difference, especially on your Battleships. They get a third volley of their guns when you MLB them.

also there's no point in leveling multiples of a ship, i see you have a level 17 hood and your level 90 hood. You can't sortie the level 17 hood at the same time as you sortie the level 90 hood.

eventually, you'll probably want to get Sandy's retrofit item and start working on retrofitting her as well for the later worlds (12 and 13).
Battlecruiser is effectively a BB in this game.

you can also definitely continue to use your DD vanguards for now. I still use DDs and I have tons of Light Cruisers/Heavy Cruisers at max.

and yeah, opsi is how you get stuff for the gear lab.

Helena is pretty much better once you retrofit her, I think

ayanami has a specific role that she does, which is doing a ton of torpedo damage to bosses generally

she's a good ship, but you don't ever really need to level her.

especially since you have Shimikaze, who is basically better than Ayanami in every way.

just try to do them as much as you can, and obviously go for wins where possible. but if you can't win and are out of refreshes
