She's a great buffer for CVs. But that's also a pretty important part of her kit. Wouldn't use her if you're not running 2+ CVs in the back

Operation Siren, you'll unlock it at Commander lv60. You can ask questions about that in gph directly since I'm a really old player and I already had strong ships for OpSi so idk how to help a new player with it

I'd say you can use Hood, Unicorn, Shang/Sara for mobbing backline.
Tosa, Warspite and Enty for boss backline.

portland and london retro would be the most important. Portland Retro is a tank that'll last you till the end game. London is an amazing DPS unit, BUT she needs her retro to do that dps.

London retrofit lets you use DD guns in her aux slot instead of torpedoes, and that boosts her DPS by a fuckload

And eventually work towards warspite and sandy retro. They're both damn expensive, but totally worth it. Warspite retro's one of the best boss fight BBs, and Sandy retro is just a beast with strong damage, decent bulk and insane AA abilities(which is important for w12 and 13)

Sandy's great. For now focus on portkai, z23, london and sandy(sandy as more of a long term investment tho).

yeah, amagi's great. Akagi and Kaga are strong as mobbing ships too, but I don't feel too comfortable recommending since they both ALWAYS have to be used together.

Don't do that, DD guns are better than CL guns
