UR priority & team help

Hi all, new player looking for suggestions on building a 2nd team. Been reading a lot of guides but I haven't built many ships and am saving cubes, so mainly looking for ships that drop from maps (to farm after this event) or can be bought from a shop. Also trying to reach > 850 torpedo stat to do Divergent Chessboard for KMS tech as I've heard FdG should be prioritised.

Ships I'm considering getting/leveling:

Phoenix - mob tank so that I can move Portland to boss fleet.
Tai Yuan - seems like a good Destroyer and as mentioned above I need more torpedo stats
Laffey - same reasoning as Tai Yuan
San Diego/Sirius - only if I can get enough medals by month end. Not sure whether to get San Diego knowing she needs to be retrofitted to be good, or get Sirius who seems more useful immediately.

I don't see a lot of options for a second fleet.

main fleet options, not ordered

• Lexington II, you should get enough bulins eventually. You can start using her after 2 limit breaks.
• Cowpens is endgame-worthy like Unicorn (2% gacha now)
• Independence (core shop, requires retrofit, do Unicorn > Portland > Independence)
• Constellation (2% gacha January 15)
• Monarch (take 34 days to coin up because you want to save the catchup for protocore)
• Maryland (guild shop, requires retrofit too, so kinda late)

vanguard options, not ordered

• San Diego with unique augment, don't need retrofit yet
• more research ships like Anchorage
• eh

lacking good vanguard options, just rotate in some ships to level up even if you don't have enough for 2 full fleets

UR priority & team help

Bumping this due to roster updates and getting enough UR bulins to start MLBing my URs (Lex II, William D Porter, Laffey II, Guam and either New Jersey or Shinano from the UR invitation). I'd appreciate advice on which UR to MLB first and subsequent URs as I get more bulins.

Also still looking for advice on 2nd fleet, hopefully I have enough options now (?)

u can skip nano and nj they arent worth mlbing rn
grab yk2 from permanent exchange when u have the chance
nelson cowpens unicorn - portland sandy cleveland meta ( if u got her crystals )
