https://azurlaneecgc.com/newbie_tips/ let's start you off here
"When you claim Mail rewards, all Oil and Coin rewards are stored in Mail Storage. The caps are 600K Oil and 1.8M Coins respectively. Leave ALL Oil / Coins inside Mail Storage until you need it. This helps prevent your Canteen and Merchant from filling up. You can withdraw from Mail Storage as needed. "
Should I just go ahead and claim everything from mail then?
I'd recommend actually spending the oil you got down to your current softcap of 1.3k Oil befre you can do such thing
yes claim it, it'll be put into a seperate storage
oh ye claim it, forgot about it. Leaves your mails open for more mails later on
the reason for this was cause of seperate issues etc but TLDR mail took up to much space so they made an entirely new storage for it
Okay I'll claim it all now
Next what should I prioritize?
What does it mean if I have a lock on a character?
Just follow the guide, progress the campaign and level stuff up.
And do the event if able
We got more guides but those will come later gotta get the basics down first
What's the lock symbol on the characters?
It means you won't show up when you go to scrap ships or pick them when you are enhancing manually etc
so as to not accidentally throw away a ship
you can unlock them if you don't wish to continue having them and need to get rid of them
It's essentially a safety measure
I mean there is a UR event going on so why not
This?
yes
How many should I build you reckon?
however much you want it's your cubes your choice
Is there any other main use for coins?
Lots, upgrading ships limit breaking them, upgrading gear etc etc
late, but common build strat for events in general is 3 pulls a day
and for dead weeks (no event banners/Wishing Well0, 1 build on Light pool a day for the daily
Why specifically light?
light pool costs 1 cube & 600 coins
heavy, special & event gacha pool (with the exception of one) cost 2 cubes & 1,500 coins
