Hello! I'd love some help on deciding which ship I should retro next. I've just completed Eldridge and already have Unicorn, Helena, and Portland retros done.
I am waffling between Essex, Saratoga, and San Diego. I have Essex's retro item and have the chips to buy San Diego's. I have 5 SR bulins in my dock and can soon purchase another, plus can get another two from 3 starring stages.
Any input from you is appreciated!
Unrelated but I am also working towards grinding Iron Blood Fleet exp to unlock FDG and eventually Agir, so have spent some SR bulins there.

sandy is usually my go to after portland, but there's argument for Portland-Helena-Sandy

yeah probably sandy, and you can also do saratoga as well on the side, she's a bit cheaper so you're not doing two SR refits at the same time, but different refit blueprints
I usually kinda have one of everything kinda going, refits on a targeted cruiser/carrier/destroyer/BB

I am currently farming 12-1 so keeping a nice amount of coins on me and can likely push to 12-4 for even better farming

I think actually she's part of USS Carrier setups with essex but I'm not 100%

yeah just remember each SR retrofit you do costs 3 gold bulins/dupes
so they have that cost too when you're also limit breaking other ships

yeah I had a bunch of SR bulins saved up and spent a few stupidly and now I'm suddenly saving my last 6 and scrounging for more
I pre-made Sandy's augment but yeah still need her retro/modernization microphone as well for 2k proto

@mystic kite @hallow willow Would you both mind chiming in and offering your opinion on if I should continue researching FDG or swap to Agir now that I have the fleet tech needed? I think ultimately both would be a big benefit to me but am wondering if because I have Oumi and other decent to good backline units if Agir may be a more immediate need as she'd immediately become my best Tank.
My main concern is I don't currently have enough T3 Battleship blueprints for both so would need to pick one to get first, with plans to get both ASAP. T3 BPs will come with time but I can only secure enough to complete research on one of them.
I've been able to farm 12-1 with 2 Main IB ships so combat xp is slow but steady.
