#my lineup fleet 1 & 2
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Did you uhh read the newbie tips?
ya still working through it, been scrambling trying to find a emu that works on my pc. now have mumu and have some mort time to go through it
the lineup for fleet one im using right now is a rec by my guild master
just for shits and gigs at this point... second fleet is.... Tenn, Penn, Unicorn, z23, Laffey, Portland
youre not at the point in the game where you can even consider a second fleet
jesus. my guild master told me i should at least be using them to level them up to like 60
are you at world 11 in campaign?
lol not even close
yeah and you definitely shouldn't be using 2 of the same ship in fleets
you use the dupe to limit break her
the ships they recommend early come recommended because they have minimal investment costs early and many of them are map drop ships as well that you might be able to save limit break mats by getting through the natural course of the game
you start trying to build up too many high cost ships early on, youll starve yourself of resources
everything costs more the higher the rarity of ship- retrofits, limit breaks, awakenings
focus on one fleet, until about world 10 ish
that makes total sense, reading through newbie tips now, it recommends a bb in the middle so i guess ill swap out Helena for Pennsylvania and smack her in the middle
you should go with Penny, Uni and Enty main fleet, and Portland, the starter DD you picked, and Helena in your vanguard
so either laffey or z23 in the middle
not much difference between the 2 tbh
and like I said, don't use 2 copies of the same ship in multiple fleet, you can use them as fodder for limit breaking
helena isnt a backline unit
man i have spent far too long leveling the wrong ships lol
its not a sprint, and it's not like you're bricked, can you post a picture of your dock so we can see what you have for ships and levels
honestly depending on what you've done at this point it might be better to adapt to something else
unicorn - pennsylvania - saratoga
portland - helena - starter
alright here we go. bare with me its gonna be phone pics of my pc screen cause its just so much quicker but heres the new and improved first fleet!
move pennsylvania to the middle of your backline
you primarily want to get unicorn and portland retrofitted as fast as possible
thanks for answering all my q's and for being a huge help. i appreciate yall
as far as gear goes, you just kinda make do with what you can until you get better, but I'll let you know pretty much only penny there has a proper aux for what she wants, and you'll want to try and find better guns for a lot of your ships as you go, but you can use the poverty guide on the equipment list for the easier starting gear that'll be worth putting levels on
but the first step is getting a proper fleet and getting some levels on them and you're on your way, just keep an eye on the guide requirements specifically for newer players for the best impact early
will do. i think once i unlock operation siren itll be a bit easier as well. ill check out the poverty guide asap
and don't do stuff in the handbook just to get the rewards, especially if it makes you waste resources, it's not going anywhere and all the stuff is things you'll be doing throughout the course of progressing the game naturally
other than that, not a whole lot to it at this point
alright, gonna burn some oil and lvl em up so i can keep pushing campaign
oh and make sure you're careful with your early gems, best to follow the general guide on that one as well if you're not putting money in the game
yeah i blew my gems already on cubes and a dorm slot but ill be better about it now lol
the dorm slot is ok, but you'll want to save another 500 for the expansion on the 2nd floor eventually
then the rest is pretty much just dock space go brrrrrr
easy nuff. might just take the hit and buy some gd gems so i feel better about wasting 24 hours on the personaility ai mini game
if you buy anything I recommend the 5 dollar pack for the commander level boost
it will give you some xp books to level out your first fleet a bit, some gear, and unlock some early time gates
and automatically puts you at commander level 70
kinda wanna wait on the commander thing so i dont unlock even more stuff until i get a grip on what i already have
it's totally up to you, it just has it's best value early on if you're gonna do it
it primarily unlocks operation siren, which is where youll get most endgame gear
