i have 3 stard everything upto this so far

Your biggest concern fleetwise is just progressing during the event content, as it'll be significantly more difficult

and usually major events, like a Anniversary one, will have good gold gear to grind on the final stage

idk how the retrofit works is just like unlock more stuff to improve a character right

For Unicorn, it’s x-4 and for Portland, it’s x-2

for hard mode anyway

okay, so;

in every event the stages will drop one specific piece of gold gear; generally they tend not to be great.

however, usually during anniversary events and UR events, the gear will be pretty solid

New Jersery's event dropped Washing Machines (Hydraulic Steers; optimal gear for most CAs / CLs / CBs)

Vanguard's event (UR Battleship) dropped Sea Hornets, which are still very solid fighters.

So it's important that you can clear and then farm this content incase something is worth grinding

You will also get oil caps; it essentially limits how much your fleet costs per sortie whilst giving you bonus coins

Just 3 star x-4 stages and you’ll get enough

These ones in each chapter

whenever you 3-star a Hardmode stage above Chapter 3 (i think) , you will get 2x Gold Blueprints.

This means if you 3 Star a x-4 stage, which will always be CV, then you will get 2x Gold Carrier BPs each time

You should be able to do all of them, they’re genuinely not hard. And with that fleet lvl you’re stomping them.

You don’t have to do chapter 10 for hard

ok this is going to be annoying as hell to do, but do this:
clear one hard mode stage, then go back to it and not finish it (do not get the boss fleet so attempt doesn’t count.)
Repeat till you get 3 star

You can do hardmode on chapter 1

you need to 3 star the entire chapter to unlock hardmode and you need to 3-star the x-4 hardmode stage above Chapter 3 to get guarentued 2x Gold Carrier BPs

To add to this: the only requirement is to 3 star the entire chapter before moving on to hard mode

For Hard Mode, yes. For Normal Mode, you don’t need to do that

enter hardmode stage 3-4
kill all the mobs + flag , that is -1 attempt.
enter it again and then defeat the mobs but not the boss, that way it wont count. exit if the boss is the last thing that remains.
repeat until 3-star is achieved and only 1 attempt is used

you only get 3 hardmode attempts per day

aka, you can only fight 3 hardmode bosses a day

oh in that 1 attempt i will try and defeat a few ships and flag, then retreat go back to kill remain fleet and retreat and go back to fight the boss??

you need to defeat all mobs and the flagship in one go.

then you will go back in and kill the mobs but not the boss; you will exit if you run out of mobs. you will repeat this until the 3 stars is obtained

Here let me lay it out for you:

• 1st attempt: beat everything on the map, boss fleet last
• all other attempts: beat everything BUT the boss
  repeat till you get 3rd star
