you can just leave strongholds to heal and then come back to continue

you can use the raff unicorn fleet for opsi stronghold no issue

well, it might work, but I'd need to at least fix some of the compromises you brought up, and perhaps make all gear +12 or higher, or swap some of the weaker ships out for better ones
