This is what I’ve got at the moment (ignore last one since it’s just Elites)
I’m looking to make 2-3 decent fleets. One that easily handles mobs and other to handle boss
I’m not stuck on any certain area (on W8-4) except maybe hard (W7-4) and got a random boost in ships that I have no clue what to do with
I’m willing to invest in ships that I haven’t yet invested in yet, Sandy and Warspite are both Halfway in their retro

so first things first would be to push at least to 9-1
that way you at least have a map to farm with an oil cap to level up ships
your first fleet should easily be sufficient to that task honestley
