I've seen a couple of people use Musashi for mobs, but wouldn't her long reload make her more effective in boss fights?

Okay, but in the case for healers, both perseus and unicorn retrofit are both seen as top tier. But why would I chose unicorn over perseus or perseus over unicorn?

Because unicorn generally behaves better but all content can be cleared with either.
