using the catchup before maxing the ship with gold means u cant convert it to protocore
for season 1-3 u want to use catchup for protocore not on the ships
that is why I told u put anchorage on catchup not saint louis

the 1 BB 2 CV is for a number of things
CV usually provide more AA and aoe dmg and utility
BB provide interception and focused dmg for elite mobs/bosses
maps have requirement for recon and air superiority
those are filled easier with CV as well
that is why 1 BB 2 CV works best in campaign usually
anyway I would say take it easy and u will learn with time
for opsi u want more specialzied boss fleets
