my honest opinion is just let assists do the work
there's all sorts of awkward stuff earlier in the game when your ship levels, enhancement and gear are not optimal and you don't really get much out of squeezing out a wee bit more damage

true. but slowly moving in some synch stuff will be good too. but yeah, it's a more of understanding skills and better stuffs while ships at this level need some investment
