  • Illustrious(w/ Bf 109Gs)/Saratoga (is okay, much better if NJ is in the mob fleet for her crossfleet buff)
  • Guam (Armor Break if a BB is in Top Fleet Position)
  • Sirius (CV buffer, hit rate increase against DDs, CLs & CAs)
  • Kirov META (has a small slow and damage increase at 15s for 8s)

If I had to build with this fleet, I would put AvP in Fleet 4 to replace Illustrious/Saratoga

Illustrious helps protect the vanguard which is a bit fragile, but also has 2 Fighter slots for Rocket planes.

Saratoga has 1 Fighter, 2 Dive Bombers slots which is decent but not amazing for bossing (more mobbing oriented), but if NJ is in another fleet (i.e. mob fleet) she can benefit from NJ's crossfleet AVI buff.

  • AvP
  • Musashi
  • Aurora (enemy DD, CL evasion debuffer)
  • Independence (retrofit is very strong mobber and has supporting wings)
  • Tai Yuan (DDGs are very strong light damage vanguards, Tai Yuan is the best out of the DDGs)

OPTIONAL

  • Shimakaze (strong DD torp, fast speed niche, crossfleet)

NICHE

  • Avrora (vanguard damage buffer)
  • Nagato (IJN CV buffer)
