#Fleetbuilding Help?

what chapter are you at rn?
In chapter 8, but pretty consistently moving through so I should be in 9+ soon
can you clear d-maps on the event?
I'm like 13 points off of total TRP, but that's the only limit I have rn
so firstly before raising new ships, you have to somehow get to one of the stages with oil cap
in this case because an event is running, it's the D stages
Okay fixed my TRP, I'm in the D stages
What does the oil cap do?
replace helena with san diego and you should be able to do D stages
they round down your fleet's oil, so farming become cheaper hence more efficient
Okay gotcha, I know San Diego can become a UR, I just need to invest a bit more with her
Ahhh I see. That's very helpful
so basically optimizing fleets are very specific to content, but I can give general ships to upgrade
for example, some chapters have gimmicks and different enemy type so you have to adjust your ships
Yeah I'd love that. I know that optimization is my next step, but right now I want to make sure my basic fleets are doing alright, and then I can start becoming specific
UR: BisZwei > Implacable > Amagi CV > New Jersey
just power wise, basically prioritize biszwei first since UR BB much more powerful than SR counterparts
Oh interesting. I used to use BisZwei but stopped cause someone told me to stick with Sovetskaya. I don't have UR Bulin's but I'll invest as soon as possible
New Jersey is not sustainable in long run since there will be another better UR battleship later probably end of this year
Yeah these are UR priorities
I just categorized them based on different resources
Ahh I see. I mean I got lucky with Amagi so I got enough for her to get to MLB, and I was told to MLB Implacable so that's where my last UR Bulin went. But I'll build into BisZwei, cause she put in the work when I used to use her
enterprise, aquila, unicorn, sandy
CV's? So far I think the only one I don't have built is Sandy, I used Aquila before Amagi, and I use the other two consistently
illustorious, helena, langley, saratoga, independence, archerfish, scylla
these are all good, long term ships that will probably hold for quite some time
the rest honestly not that important, although you do need some ships that you have levelled to carry a little bit
Amazing, I appreciate all the help. I have the resources to start slowly building more optimized teams, so I'll build into the other ships you mentioned, langley, sara, etc.
wait remove langley and illustorious
Lol gotcha, and I also know I have to contine building San Diego
they are inly useful in heavy plane maps, which other better options might be available by the time you got there
I mean Illustrious I already have built but Langley I'll put aside
other ships are just for tech points
so basically when you obtain or lvl120 a ship, they give certain bonuses. Some pros gain +40 rld for CV this way (they level couple dozens of ship to level120)
I'm really trying to get enough tech points to start working on UR's in labs, I don't have a lot of tech points and I know units like FDG and Hakuryuu are good
more info on fleettech is on the azure lane wiki
More motivation to get my ships to higher levels
oh then try to go for fdg
limit break iron blood ships
especially the elite ones since the materials are easy to come by
purple bulins are plenty
Perfect, that sounds like a great plan. I didn't know that LB counts towards tech points
also little ships, META, and muse ships do not give faction tech points. For example there is lil eigen and lil bel there
