Need help fixing fleets please

Want to fix up my fleets so ships are leveling up as I progress and so I can better understand who I will want to get between Hood and Enterprise when I get to that point

My current fleets

Dock minus the rares and commons

Put Kazagumo in the second fleet if you want to continue with kaga akagi backline

If I have better options than them I don't mind switching, just using them since I got insanely lucky and got both before even getting 10 blueprints for the toolbox from that stage

I'd say field Saratoga instead of Ark Royal

Just finished 6-4 but I've been wanting to fix my fleets up now rather than later so that all the ships are getting exp as I'm progressing further

Consolidate single fleet then instead of two:
Uni-Richeliu-Saratoga
Portland\Helena\Kazagumo

What about their starters? I am leaning towards ditching helena for laffey

Oh well maybe not a "lot" but I've been holding them until finding someone worth using them on

You need levels, Helena usually sits in the boss fleet so she doesnt really get as much exp in two fleets, means she is vulnerable compared to others in vanguard

Richelieu, uni, Saratoga( cuz usable until w15) and some vanguard ships like Portland, kirov, laffey
Akagi, kaga, west wirginia(maybe , if you get her retro) or ark royal, kazagumo, Helena, another tank for bossing.

Pre ch9 you just overlevel the content and can clear everything in a single fleet, once you get them to like ~110, you can work on your second fleet then Put Kazagumo in Vanguard, and CVmaxx with whoever is strong in your dock by then, worst case - akagi kaga, best case Enterprise and other good carriers. That way you wont stumble yourself in Ch12 after sitting in 10-11 for eternity

Leveling battleships is easier than carriers pre w12, so you want to cherish that

Hmmm, if you are close to completing the newbie questline, i'd say you wait until September to look at what will be in medal exchange. Enterprise can be bought in CV exchange, Hood in BB\BC

So you can compensate with a voucher for whoever is not in there

I'm almost done with the medium section of it so I'll be sure to keep that in mind

I should also mention that since there is an event going on, it might be more worth running the event and delaying campaign for now

For now, focus on MLB'ing Richeliu

You have enough bulins, just budget your coins wisely

That's what I have been doing, outside of hard mod atleast to try get retrofit blueprints for Uni, Portland and Laffy

If you want to min max for hard mode, you can do campaign until you struggle, 3 star em, and go farm in the event maps

That way you get budget MLB team with not that much coins spent on limit breaking them, spreading yourself thin on SRs is kinda a noobtrap

Yeah I noticed that seemed to be a trend with newer players which is why I've been holding all my gold bulins until I knew for sure who I should use them on

Definately not on Takao and Prinz Eugen Richeliu>Kazagumo>Akagi\Kaga>Suzutsuki\Chapayev\Kirov

You've got yourself two nice DDs that have a lot of torp stat, so next event you won't be gatekept in hardmode 1200 torp requirement in C3\D1

As of now - MLB Helena and limit break Saratoga now and MLB her as soon as possible, open boxes for equip

Also MLB Z23 and fish for Javelin, MLB her too to get Ayanami in collection, she will make your hard mode fleet building more flexible since she is a bigger torp stat stick

And thats all basically Retro Uni, Portland, Saratoga, do hard mode campaign, get yourself a white shell for 800 core data in shop, put it on Richeliu, continue buying them until 2 or 3 white shells, then farm core data until Independence for 1200 core data, level and retrofit her and you can level whoever by then with slapping Unicorn and Independence retro in backline
