Game mechanics are my main issue since I'm a 2017 player and haven't really done much outside of the first 2-3 months I grinded the game

If AA is the only major factor, I don't think I'll have trouble with getting to 12-4

12-1 supposedly gives more xp but it is a very small amount

Ah, the exp part matters a bit more for me, I'm personally trying to gun for FDG next since I don't have the UR BBs and what-not
And uni is coming up and I ideally want to run manually instead of auto

u could try and start opsi
use the same 2 fleets u are using now
the story is easy to follow and finish (just takes a few hours)
check the missions and follow the red exclamation points

There's a lot more to take in here than Warframe, but I feel like that's mostly because I already got to level 65+ before the game started adding a bunch of stuff
How often would I need to grind OpSi daily? I heard you need it for gear but I'm not sure if I can factor it in with my schedule
Assuming I get a decent footing with it and just need to do runs or what-not, imagine Simulated Universe from HSR, if that makes sense

story takes a few hours (idr exactly how much tbh but 2-4 hours i would guess) but u only do it once
daily grind is doing 5-6 maps on auto for the daily missions. takes like 10-15 mins max
and after that u have the one time monthly clears for hidden zones and abyssals
u can leave em all and do it in the last week
once u get the hang of it it should be like 2-3 hours per month which u can do however u like

yeah it only needs Action Points which u get passively and from crates
so doing opsi on the side does not hurt your other plans in anyway
actually it gives u a decent amount of xp which means it will help with levelling your ships

How fast does oil recover actually?
It sounds crazy but I've been capped on/to 25k for the past... 5-6 years at this point

good ships and gear
plus it can be completed relatively quickly

pr1-3 ships are coinable which means u dont need to get their blueprints in academy
and the gear is in gearlab
pr4 is the best season to start. it gives very good gear and 2 of the best tanks in the game
