so far for me
but still after first fight with this heavy CV uni and pan are almost dead
my mob fleet dies when out of ammo in 15-3
overall i feel it is like i am missing something a bit but no clue
maybe just better gear

what are you running for the support fleet among other things

i have 6 ammo in subs at the start i dont use but later yea like
maybe i am doing something wrong or had bad luck
be more liberal with their usage
call them in for the super CV nodes to kill them quicker
call them on out of ammo nodes as well
make sure you call them later so they don't surface before the battle ends

+13 soyuz gun, sextuple, white shells, BB radars/table at least
for planes you would be looking at some Coverging Torpedo Bombers(Ryuusei, Ju-87ds, and Saiuns for planes) and then Bf-109Gs
for auxiliaries the table first
then some shells/fire control radars
for AA guns your 2 sextuples

I haven't really seen any successful alterantives
in both super CV i used sub in one i used this -10% debuff
that one could practically pull off anyway
but still that dmg is so big
the 10% debuff doesn't work on super CVs remember

you might want to consider pausing and waiting for some more upgrades
independence's cross fleet wouldn't save your mob fleet
if you really want to try and improve your fleets
get Indomitable to 120 and consider getting Illustrious Muse and leveling her as well
use a 50/50 split of Fw-190 A5s and Skyrockets

but there's a lot of them in W15
plus I think you're overestimating a bit just how much of a difference AA radars will make
there's a couple of different ways you can approach it
for you, the best method would probably be to have the mob fleet take the first 2 bosses
ok it seems i will first do 15-3 to have 3 start and will try for some upgrades first
flapjack would make a significant difference if suchi's test is anything to go by, but it would be expensive
this makes sense in theory but suchi's practical testing had worse results than just all one plane type
I've heard many different takes on that department so I can't really comment
it is odd. if i had to speculate, it might be because the denser waves are more able to outright shoot down some of the planes completely, which may be better than technically doing more total damage but not destroying as many planes

I don't really like reccomending all Flapjacks because it is so expensive and for relatively minor gains
it is hard to justify the cost yeah, since it's 6 plane slots of one particular world. does help quite a bit though, but very doable without
