D event maps are like W10 in terms of difficulty

because you're stuck in W10 and have basically no coins you can't effectively work on doing research or coin PR ships
and it'll also actively take away XP and coins for your two current fleets which will alow you to push to W12 to farm for coins and get you a better spot to farm XP
for now, your main goal is get your gear in a better slot and then push for D3 of the event
once you're done farming the event then push for W12

For now just forget or slow down your research since you can't really keep up the coin consumption and focus on enhancing your gear
