Unicorn gets the priority because her improvement is absolutely massive
But this early on you're probably stymied in completing either by lack of retrofit prints

Ngl, though, I'm really vaccillating on Soyuz... like, on the one hand, if my construction of the expected income of UR Bulins is correct, you probably can amass enough to MLB her by end of next month...
And when you're at 3-1, correct? And you physically can't MLB her until 70 anyway, and LB2 Soyuz is honestly fine up until a higher world anyway... I'm somewhat torn on not using her (well, apart from her being an oil sink)...

I know you can get like 1 UR Bulin free as a beginner, 1 from the event, 1 from cruise missions, and you can probably amass enough cores for a fourth to buy...
Really, my biggest complaint is the oil sink

Well, it's more like... if Penny can do fine, I'd be hesitant to spend that much oil on Soyuz (like 1.5x the cost)

well, I'd counter that by saying new players are gonna struggle to burn through all the oil they get anyway as is because nothing is limit broken or leveled

and when you do start getting stuff limit broken and leveled and oil cost get's more substantial you're not that far off oil caps anyway

When you're at 3-1, don't lose too much sleep over the equipment bc you will have close to nothing

Show me your depot and I'll try and find the best possible subs in the meantime

Nah, that's one of the classic beginner's traps, unfortunately
Indy does not age well as you progress, and your fleet is better off not trying to make use of that synergy
