Advice for Second fleet for new player

You should get to at least W9 before you consider the thought of that

I'm mainly looking for a way to burn oil ATM so I figured grinding out the shell of a second fleet would be fine. Not to mention my research ship needs me to grind out exp

You should also get to at least W9 before you consider doing research full time
Mainly because due to oil cap, your oil efficency drastically increases, making it a good spot to grind your ships

grinding two fleets at a time while pushing content means you're spreading your resources way too thin, plus your current ship selection is frankly complete shit

If you really need to burn oil right now (Tho if you're concerned about claiming resource from the HQ buildings, there's your current soft cap and the actual cap of 25k oil and 600k gold), buy dorm food
