Hey guys this is the fleet I am currently building for:
Boss:

  • Portland, Tai Yuan, Helena
  • Soyuz, Enterprise, Saratoga
    Mob:
  • Pola, Laffey, Yat Sen(will take quite a while, using Cleveland for now)
  • Nelson, Unicorn, Independence
    Any thoughts on this? Also is there any good BB’s I should look out for to replace Nelson? Or will she be sufficient? Currently almost finishing world 10. Any ships I should try to get to prepare for the higher worlds?

Notionally you could swap laffey and Tai Yuan, so you get the China buffs with Yat Sen, but you'll need to retrofit and level Yat Sen anyway.

I think I can see what you're doing with your equips, getting everything to +8, like you're increasing everything in lockstep. Prioritise main fleet weapons instead, particularly BBs since they only have the one slot (where CVs have three slots) for their main attack.

Oh ok thanks! But Tai Yuan is very helpful in my boss fleet(always the top 2 damage dealers) and if I use Yat Sen then Helena will have to move to my mob fleet…?(Which is not too good?)

just move Tai Yuan to the mob fleet, once you get your fleets worked on more they'll be fine

Ok thanks! Should I retrofit laffey? Or would another cl be better in the boss fleet compared to laffey/dd?

I never spent much time with laffey, but just to note that Kagerou when retrofitted is ridiculous given she's a blue, and I'd probably recommend her over laffey's retrofit, looking at ECTL

Oh that’s good to know, then should I get Kawakaze from the merit shop? She is tier 0(though I need the aug module)
