Here’s the equipment i have on the fleet rn, i just transferred volga’s equipment over to shinano and did the same for jda to unzen but kept the rainbow torps on unzen

And yes i used subs

Also made sure to do the airstrike on the boss

Scepter instead of bow for the CVs as well

Twin 90mm on Unzen instead of Sextuple and would go double defensive auxes on her

Quads mags as well on her

Wouldn't it have been better for Unzen to have a quad mag or would the raw damage of Shima torps plus the double load balance it out?

Uh my entire vanguard died and york II died but i almost cleared it with one boss left at 10 hp bars

Who should i change in my vanguard?

And was york II not supposed to have been able to die?

i think theyre fine. when did they start dying?

They went down to 70% hp after getting rid of all the mob ships with the subs, san diego was the first to go down followed by Unzen after a huge bombardment landed on the vanguard area

Leaving brest with about 30-40% hp alone

Its also around there when york II died

NJ was about 60-70% hp and hakuryuu didn’t take much damage, pretty much unharmed

at the beginning, try to avoid every torp as they hurt a lot. for fleet comp, i suggest bring aquilia. she can give healing + sheild on 1 vanguard and 1 main, help them survive and additional aa buff. in plane interception capability she also good with 4 fighter 4 wyvern. swap her with haku

How’s the gear?

I’m actually amazed at how much skill issue i’m suffering with the vanguard

This time the main fleet survived but my entire vanguard died

Should i use jeanne instead? My vanguard didn’t die previously when i had her instead of Unzen

Or more like brest and jeanne didn’t, but san diego did

Could i replace san diego with cheshire?

Or Harbin perhaps?

And since the fight is rng dps racing would be better

Hm, i see but my san diego basically dies as soon as the fight with the boss fight starts which is why i’m questioning her usefulness

I did it after trial running with different tanky aux’s, though i found that swapping unzen for jeanne to be the easiest option. This is because whether the backline dies is RNG and the vanguard dying is RNG for me too because of my skill issue. So if i use jeanne i only need to rerun till my backline doesn’t die. This is because my vanguard always dies when the boss is just one more airstrike/bombardment away from dying

Though RNG could just decimate the backline anytime

The whole vanguard survived this time
