Nj/Uni/Independence for main.
for vanguard
where in campaign are you
10-3
Kron/Shima/Sandy for vanguard.
also opsi fleets and campaign fleets differ widely if trying to be optimal
id just like a general team for campaign and maybe like 2 or 3 for operation siren
and if theres certain ships i can work towards in the shipyard that will make my teams even better
these were what i was using before i quit
id love to make use of some of these urrs ive gotten if they have a place in my current shipyard
well your main goal right now is push to W12 asap
then get to work on Operation Siren and PR

sorry for being so much trouble, i get so overwhelemed with how many ships there are and i feel like everytime i come back certain ships are powercrept and others are insane again
yea but gear is more important, you can make pretty much anything work if u gear her properly especially untill chapter 14
but u got good ships alr so it should be a breeze
the guide cheeky mentioned lists some poverty gears so ure good to go

i didnt know what i was doing so i was just researching kearsarge cause she was cute

how accurate is the azur lane community tier list gear, this seems a lot easier to look at but ill make the other guide work if thats more accurate

the other guide is more accurate
this one is functional if you read descriptions
its just like a lot of word vomit when i dont have any idea which ships need more range, or reload or whatnot

we dont rly have a "how-to" gear guide more like gear evals
the only way is learning the gears and applying it to your experience in game
or well ask ppl here to rate/fix your setups

giving ships gear to hold makes em not count in depot
so basicly you have infinite space as long as you have more ships in dock than gear to account for

alright i gave sandy the hydraulic steering gear, i gave kawakaze another 76mm gun, and i made a second golden barracuda cause i had enough, and gave that back to enterprise, everything else look good?

for now u can follow the rule of
parallel torpedo bombers = mob
converging torpedo bombers = boss
altho this isnt always the case and later on kinda doesnt apply but till w13 its fine

What stage should i run to get gold, im gonn aneed so much of it to make these teams usable
pref push to at least w11-1
then grind till u can push w12-1 which will where you set tent for a long time ( or 12-4 either works )
but if u havent alr you should grind event
yeah i havent touched the event yet im ngl
but now i got teams that i can cook with
if mob team is struggling coz lvls then just swap nj with nagato
yea the one with unicorn is pretty much always the mob team since thats the only fleet u run a mainhealer
Just one last question, is the cattery something I should be concerned with, my cattery has been full for like years and its all like super rares and i was afraid to dump any of them
the whole system just hurts my brain
my recommendation is the better you start with cats the better
they provide a non negligible bonus which will pay off in the long run
its just filled with the SRs and finding out whats good and what to feed makes my brain melt
its not rly that complicated it just boils down to
- fish for good cats aka cats with good talents/potential ( the hard part )
- feed bad cats into em to clean slots and boost their lvls
- reroll or save for later
- feed 4 dupes to lvl their skill to lvl 3 once ure settled on that cat
- enjoy
ideally you have at least
2 bb cats, 2 cv cats, 2 SR cats ( for opsi nodes ) , 2 SS cats
bb cats are usually antenna as commander + oscar/lime as astaff
cv cats are usually bisha + jiro/ark
SS cats are steel + edelweiss
SR cats can be w.e but usually another pair/combination of CV or BB cats
so basically i look at the cat type i have, and if it doesnt have the core talents then i just dump it into a cat that does have those talents?
do i want to look for one that has all 3 core talents
like for example this one has artillery ace and destiny
do i need to just keep digging for one with multiple good traits
a great cat is one that as all core talents at the same time
but that is hard to roll
so you want to start on a cat that has like 2-3 talents from core and then roll from there and reroll till u can the last one
but ofc in the beginning you take lesser cats that start on 0-2 core because they still good to have since free stats are free stats
oh yea and also single point talents like flame and soul are harder to roll so ideally your base cat at lvl 1 started with at least 1 of em
but yea lategame rolling cats is your only coinsink
dont gimp your income early on cats but still take ur free boxes and fish for em id say
