Hello everyone , I am an old shikikan that started the game again yesterday after 4 years. I am a bit lost as I am pretty much getting carried by the old me. I learnt again what was retrofit between yesterday and today. I can probably retrofit Helena too but lack the gold to do so. I come to you guys to help me build my fleets because I am quite lost. Hello I am currently at stage 8 rn , I want to farm some gold ( only have 10k rn so rly low). I head that I needed to go at least till world 12 before I start farming

I will try to finish world 8 today so I will probably be at least at world 9 by the end of the day

coins will get much easier once you reach chapter 9
you get clearing rewards from there onwards
if you don't have any problem or your fleet isn't dying then there's really no reason to change it
also you only need one fleet for now since you won't get enough gears for the two fleets so and so
up untill chapter 11, you can just use one fleet and with higher levels you'll be able to clear these chapters pretty easily
awaken the ships tho everyone is caped at 100, that's bad if you're running them for a long time since exp caps at 3 million
your fleet will be hood as flag, enterprise, unicorn
vanguard tank is flexible here since you have many ships leveled
but you need to retrofit portland and your starter DD for the rookie rewards, so I'd suggested using them also since you'll have to do various things with them
side note, are you done with rookie?

it looks like you haven't completed rookie so, your frontline will be portland as tank,helena in the middle then ayanami
you have many better ships but completing rookie is important so that you can get combat exp, which you'll convert to protocores for buying stuffs in the shop

ah just give them the gears you have now, you mostly get gears from research and tech boxes
just don't farm them in campaign stages

usually it's after you spend the oil and don't have anything else cus it's relatively easy

you can also do that with one fleet for now
it's always a mob fleet that does almost 90% of opsi
you only need boss fleet for killing bosses which you shouldn't worry about now

you should clear chapter 4 of opsi
so that when the next month's reset hits, you'll then have access to the new shop
