Change fuel filter on Prinz to a toolbox or rudder, Laffey's quint torps are bad and you have no need for ASW on her, JdA doesn't want that torp aux so use rudder, Enterprise should have a better fighter (hellcat or corsair if you can) and no need for a toolbox on her, give Riche triple 406 mk6, and again no need for toolbox on back line for Uni. I'd also change Uni's TB to a barracuda if you can

Just like in WW2, American TBs aren't that effective

It's mainly for the 3* missions
You can cheese the "Kill X amount of escort ships" (IE any enemy that's not the boss) by killing all the mobs then retreating to not consume the hard mode key

Well 3* your 1 and 4 first cause you get glod retro prints for 3* and you can skip the only requirement is you need 3* on normal to unlock hard after that you can play any map

Rule of thumb is to do one light pull a day outside of event banners

Then you'd pull on event banners (especially UR ones) and go back to 1 light per day after you either get the UR or everyone you wanted off the rateup lineup

Event banners often take from heavy or special pools to fill up the pool which is why we don't recommend people to pull Perma heavy/special
