hood - great mob flagship
enty - great cv in general, does everything alright at worst
kazagumo - keep her around, one of the best buffers for cvs
howe - good bb by today's standards
uvh - spammer bb, she's great. nothing much to say other than MLB'ing every UR you obtained

other usable ships for now or in the future
shoukaku - old-style cv buffer, works when u don't have much options now, but stronger cvs will take her place
illustrious - a surprise tool that will help u later (w13, 15)
prinz heinrich and adalbert - two decent tank cas. powercreep in this role a bit inevitable if ur progress is good though.

do note though that gold bulins are scarce in the early game. would recommend raising a fleet not fully staffed with SRs and/or URs for your first 2 fleets

however it is not a pretty bad idea to retrofit her

just do the retrofit after unikai, your starter and portland
