Unicorn and indpendence are great mob fleet carriers, musashi is excellent all round BB, ark royal works as a slowing carrier for single target bossing, enterprise is a very good bossing carrier, unzen is a good damage focused CA, yuudachi is a strong DD in all situations, saratoga can be useful with her augment (though I would usually just end up using independence).
If you have ryza's augment and the special gear (the staff and 4 bombs) she is a really nice mob Cl due to barrage spam.
Both laffey II and Guam are strong, but if you have ulrich I would focus your bulins into her first.

I would run musashi, unicorn, indep, minneapolis, starter dd, san diego for mob and Ark royal, amagi, enterprise, portland, yuudachi unzen for boss. Musashi is your best ship. she can go into boss fleet. but worlds 10 and 11 have a lot of suicide boats so u usually need double BB. I dont have sushi myself but i think she is good enough to intercept on her own. your boss fleet will have unzen and yuudachi so they can probably kill everything. amagi isnt the best but i dont see any other BB that is usable.
once you are on chapter 12 u can put saratoga in place of musashi and run triple carrier. and musashi can go into boss fleet instead of amagi
use similar fleets for opsi for now.
good ships to level eventually for opsi would be UvH, sirius, kazagumo, the PR4 ships (all except marco polo)
focus PR4 and set catchup to anchorage. retrofit your starter DD>saratoga/ark royal when u have enough resources (both are good ships pre retrofit so not the highest priority for now)

as for PR which has been mentioned I almost have monarch (missing 500k exp) and I was working on Roon
and catchup was set for the latter

tldr is get a PR1-3 ship to dev30 with coin. then set catchup to give BP. convert BP to protocore.
use protocore to get good gear BPs

also check if u have any of these in your depot and also analyze them for protocore
you can get them when u do these missions
on the right side of your profile name there is a red tab with rookie (i think) on it. if u press there u can see.
if you have these missions then just focus anchorage since these will give enough protocore for now
before you spend protocore ask again in the general channel. the previous recommendations were to get 3 champy guns and 1 tenrai but it might have changed becuase of a recent update to gear lab. for now just get the protocore and dont spend it

it will be a while before you can get 343 BP for anchorage so for now u can finish monarch and start coining her

it is also recommended to try and get FDG as soon as u can since she is also coinable and she is a rainbow ship.
u have musashi so not the most urgent thing for u tbh but keep it in mind

as for the starte DD can I pick any or even use something else like ayanami/kazagume/wakatsumi?

there are missions to retrofit your starter and get them to level 100 etc. that is why i said do that
if not ayanami is better than them. kaza also good since u want her in opsi eventually. so up to you (I would use kaza)

also get working on opsi if u have not already. u have enough to beat the opsi story. it doesnt use morale or oil so u can do it when you are done with pushing the story or low on oil. u should do the daily missions and try and finish the story
