destroyers in middle, always limit break backliners first, they deal the dps

actually maybe essex could boss and independence mob

get to chapter 9+ because thats where the oil cap is and where you can get lots of gold, chapter 12 is easy and rich, try to get there

independence's retrofit has a skill that gives aviation stat to cvs in the other fleet, so she's good to have in mob to boost boss, but you havent retro her yet

"essex amagi perseus" - that's a mob fleet right? perseus is one of the mobber queen's she's not fit for bossing, but if mob then yeah

enterprise is an old ship but still very good, you can even see her kill newer META bosses etc
Taihou needs her augument to be strong, so its an extra investment

you could use another pairing, souryuu and hiryuu or formidable/shangri-la/warspite
