So i just play for gacha but have recently gotten into it more but iv no clue what ships are even good

you've got a couple of good options for a mob and boss fleet, let me just think of which ones to use

grab portland and helena from guild shop, then run hood, enterprise, unicorn, portland, laffey, helena

you can finish essex when you have the leeway to raise a second fleet

Nah just play for gacha but need a good team to advance with for events

just get to world 9 then, its pretty accessible
you can farm 9-1 for coin and exp more efficiently
until then stick to one fleet

Yeah agree with port and Helena. Prioritize retro on uni, port is a good second for tanking vanguard

Yeah, but without retro, Helena is still a good vanguard unit in the middle slot for the debuff. Laffey will have high Eva so can cover offtank

You'll probably want to retro Laffey eventually for the rookie missions, but seeing your lineup with enterprise I think you're in no hurry to finish that

Oh do be warned. Read up before you retrofit if you have a narrow roster. I had issues with some maps since Hyuuga changes from BB to BBV for example

theres no unlock criteria, youre just gatekeeped by levels on certain nodes for improvement
