need help clearing story

please help, I keep getting annihilated at 6-4. The game expects me to clear 10-4 in 2 days to get one ssr (Sirius I think)
I don't think there will be enough time to change my main teams and upgrade them...
does increasing equipment level help in survival too?
Would really appreciate any idea to help clear it soon

make sure to put unicorn in the fleet you are using to clear the mobs because she can keep your ships healthy enough

run zwei, unicorn, enterprise, portland, helena and z23

double fleet for early game is a bad idea

newbies dont have enough resources for 2 fleets

you can start using double fleet when you hit world 9

vestal is useless, you put your tank in the safest spot, youre using dpses as tanks

focus on just one fleet and try to get them as powerful as possible. Having unicorn helps too. Even if you dont get Sirius, you wont be missing out on much, since you will still be able to get her from the Light Construction eventually.

when you hit world 9 you can drop helena temporarily for a better option since shes mostly for late game

Vanguard:

• Left position is the main tank, you need someone with high survivability
• Middle position is safe for DPS or squishy ships because they wont take a lot of damage
• Right position is "Off-tank", so she wont take as much damage as the Left position but she still needs to have a bit of survivability

it will take a lot of time, but eventually when you have level 120+ ships and level 10+ gear, you can use them to clear basically anything except very high level or end-game missions

but for general content you can use any fleet you want as long as you level them up to some extent

^ this only applies until you hit world 13 or attempt arbiter and you still need to at least know what youre doing

+6 should be enough for your level

after level 6, you need purple plates, then to increase beyond level 10, you need gold plates

yeah as soup said, its a good site to help with fleet building but ofcourse remember that waifu>meta in this game

if you like the skin, you can get it, then equip it on taihou when you get her

no f2p should not touch skins and oaths at all

gems should only be used on dock space and dorm

you have like ~4000 guaranteed gems or something? most people go for 3 dorm slot, second floor and dump the rest into dock space
